We played a little bit with some APIs of bitcoin from various suppliers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The purpose was to create a simple game (Bitcoin Predictor Game), where the user can predict the Bitcoin evolution in the next 60 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are only 3 options: “In 60 seconds from now, the Bitcoin price will be higher, lower or the same”. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the user is correct, he\/she gets points. If not, not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our only problem so far is that all API suppliers we used (the free ones) provide the bitcoin price at TOTALLY different values. :). Maybe in the future we’ll take a premium API.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We tested 5 different information sources in REAL TIME (some exchanges, Revolut, Plus500, eToro, …) – they are all not synchronized. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I remember that some time ago was a book about this subject (Flash Boys, by Michael Lewis). It’s interesting to further investigate this<\/p>\n\n\n\n
